Micha Verheij
I’m a 3rd year student studying Creative Media and Game Technology (CMGT), focusing on engineering, at Saxion University of Applied Sciences. I like exploring anything related to technology and have a passion for creating things to help others. I can work well both alone and in a team but working with others helps me stay motivated.

Solve puzzles and evade the guard to help the princess escape captivity in this asymetrical local coop puzzle game. This was a group project created together with 5 other students,
my role in this project was to create and implement most of the puzzle mechanics like a draggable color connect puzzle and a
UI-based scrollable combination lockI was also in charge of tooling for this project and, by using Unity's ImGui editor window features, made a tool to create fully scalable new solutions for the color connect puzzle.

Dialogue System Pro (DSP) is a personal project of mine that aims to create an easy to use and fully cunstomizable dialogue system for unity. For this project I have used Unity's new UIElements system to create a graph based interface where you can design a naturally flowing conversation.
It contains nodes for:
- Simple character dialogue
- Choice boxes that can branch the conversation
- Custom serializable events with easy to use UI
It also has support for multiple end points so branching stories can carry across conversations easily

Rendering Engine
I'm building my own game engine from scratch in C++ using OpenGL and ImGui,Current features include dynamic lighting, JSON-based scene serialization, and a basic post-processing pipeline.
And I have a lot more features planned, like input handling and an upgraded asset library.
